At a glance

• Jomi Bondhu has no accounts and no server.
• Everything you type or attach stays on your phone, encrypted. We cannot see it or retrieve it.
• No analytics, ads, crash reporting or tracking of any kind.
• Camera, gallery and files are used only when you yourself attach a document.
• Outgoing links go only to official government land-service websites, and the app shows the exact domain and asks before leaving.

1. Who is responsible

The Jomi Bondhu app and this website (jomi-bondo.tulx.app) are published by Tulx. Contact: contact@jomi-bondo.tulx.app.

2. What the app collects

We collect nothing. The app runs offline and sends no data to us or to any third-party server. The following data is created and stored only on your phone:

• Property files: a name for the land, its purpose (buying, selling, inheritance and so on), your answers to the questionnaire, checklist status, notes and reminders.
• Documents: photos or PDFs you attach, and the details you type from the paper (deed number, dag, khatian, area, names, NID and similar).
• Family and ownership data: the family tree used for inheritance shares, the title chain and partition plans.
• Calculations: saved land-area and share calculations.
• Settings: language, text size, contrast, whether app lock is on, onboarding state.

3. How it is stored and protected

• All property data and attached files are stored in the app's private storage encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The key lives in the phone's secure key store (Android Keystore).
• You can turn on app lock; the app then opens only after the phone's fingerprint, face or screen-lock check. The app never receives biometric data; the operating system performs the check.
• Sensitive identifiers such as NID numbers are masked on screen until you reveal them.
• The in-app audit log records which fields changed, never their values.
• Because there are no analytics, NID or deed details cannot be copied anywhere.

4. Permissions

• Camera and photos/files: only when you tap “Take photo”, “Gallery” or “PDF/file”. The file is copied into the app encrypted; the original is left untouched.
• Biometrics: only if you enable app lock, to show the phone's own verification screen.
• Internet: the app makes no network requests itself. External links open in your browser.

5. Third parties

• There is no ad network, analytics SDK or crash reporter in the app.
• Read-aloud (text-to-speech): when you tap “Listen”, the text is handed to the TTS engine installed on your phone (for example Google Text-to-Speech). That engine's own policy applies; some engines use the internet to download voice data.
• Government websites: when you open an official site such as land.gov.bd you leave the app for your browser, and that site's privacy policy applies. The app does not know what happened there.

6. Backups

You can create a backup file from the app. It is encrypted with a password you choose (PBKDF2 + AES-256-GCM) and stays wherever you save it; no copy reaches us. If the password is lost, the file cannot be opened, not even by us.

7. Deleting data

“Delete all data” in Settings permanently removes every property file, document and calculation. Uninstalling the app also removes everything, because no server copy exists. Details: Delete your data.

8. Children

The app is intended for adult landowners, buyers and heirs. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; in fact we collect data from no one.

9. This website

• The website sets no cookies. Only your chosen language is kept in the browser's local storage.
• Standard server access logs temporarily record IP address, time and page visited, solely for security and troubleshooting.
• The Bangla web font is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request to Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

10. Changes

Changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever adds any data collection, this policy will be updated first.
